    Social organization and autonomy are key for communities to address their socioeconomic demands and evolve in the long run. The company shares knowledge and information with the parties involved and, based on this data, establishes a common vision for the development of a given community and region, based on prioritizing initiatives and defining roles and responsibilities. Suzano understands that community engagement implies collective construction and, therefore, invests in groups rather than individuals.

    Institutional and business strengthening of social organizations (community associations) participating in income generation programs is a strong lever for increasing the commercialization of their products and services. In addition, the growth of the network of partners continues to evolve, which increases the solidity with which the development process of the territories.

    The economic impact is perceived by the number of work generated by the participation of families in the activities of the programs, in the volume sold in the territories and circulating in these locations.

    In the social aspects, the impacts of these processes are observed in the average monetary income of the families, many of them had no income before.
